How To Split Checked In Packages

Splitting is available for Metrc and package control packages. The products must be measured at Weight, Unit-weight, or Unit.
Splitting Checked In Packages
Navigate to Inventory→Checked In Packages on IndicaOnline Web.
Click on Synchronize to update your Metrc data.
Select the package that you would like to split and click the Split button.
In the Split and Check In Package pop-up make sure to fill out the Destination UID (for Metrc products, it is a tag number) and Package Qty for your new package.
For Metrc packages, it is possible to complete the split here. If you wish to check in the package at once, enable the Check-In To Product toggle.
Select your product from the dropdown.
If your Metrc product is missing from the list, create it under Apps→Metrc Product Items. To learn how to do it, please refer to this article.
Proceed by filling out the other fields for the new check-in. Click Continue.
If the Metrc child package qualifies for inherited payment, you will be shown a Payment Amount Handling pop-up. Choose the Return to the account option if you want to return the inherited amount, or Leave in the source package if you want to keep it, and click the Continue button. When the confirmation box pops up, verify the information you have entered, and click Confirm.
at this point, a new package is created in your Metrc account, under Active packages.
IndicaOnline syncs packages. you can see your newly split package under the Checked in Packages menu if you decide to proceed with the check in. It will be under the Pending Packages menu if you decide not to proceed with the check in.
