- Last updated on November 14, 2023 at 12:06 PM
The Pending Packages tab reflects active Metrc packages accepted in your Metrc account that are ready to be checked into IndicaOnline. The packages can be found by navigating to Inventory→Pending Packages on IndicaOnline Web.
We highly recommend clicking the Synchronize button to update the list of your pending packages prior to proceeding.

Product Category - The Metrc product category.
Quantity - The quantity available in the Metrc account.
Vendor - The Metrc vendor name.
Last Modified - The time that the package was last modified in Metrc.
Synchronize - Allows you to manually push the sync between IndicaOnline and Metrc.

The following actions can be completed from Pending Packages: Check In, Split and Finish, Assign New Vendor, Assign To Existing.
The Check In button allows you to associate the Metrc package with a product profile in IndicaOnline.
Select the package and click the Check In button.
The product profile should be created in your IndicaOnline account in advance in order to be available for check-in under the Product Name drop-down and can be used to check in multiple packages.
If the necessary product profile is still not available from the drop-down menu, please make sure to enable the Each Only toggle for the Unit Product Profile in IndicaOnline when checking in packages with the Metrc ea Quantity measurement.
Fill out the necessary information and click Continue. Click the Use Source UID button to automatically fill the External Barcode field with the package's Surce UID.
IndicaOnline will pull the necessary information from Metrc, thus no additional actions are required once the package is properly linked with a product profile in IndicaOnline. The first time you do a check-in for a new product you will have to create a new product profile. The next time you check in an existing product, IndicaOnline will automatically fill in information from the transfer manifest in Metrc e.g. product name, vendor, quantity, package ID, and other information. You can also check in pre-packs in set amounts. It will show you exactly how much weight is being reported to Metrc and will automatically combine the weight of your pre-pack to match that amount.
You can enable the Autocomplete Vendor’s Barcode setting in individual vendor profiles. When enabled, it will auto-populate the External Barcode field with the package's Source UID. If there are several Source UIDs present, you will be able to pick one from a dropdown.
The Split button allows you to divide the package into two or more new packages. This way you can check in a single transfer into multiple product profiles. You may also split a package if you are transferring any of the packages back to the vendor.
Make sure you have the necessary amount of tags available before you start splitting your packages.
Select a package that you want to split and click the Split button.
Fill out the necessary information and click Create Package And Send to Metrc. Make sure the Destination UID field contains 24 characters.
The split package will appear at the top of the Pending Packages list, and you will be able to check it in or split it.
The Finish button allows you to make the package inactive in both IndicaOnline and Metrc.
You can finish the package only if it has no remaining quantity available and there is no quantity variance between IndicaOnline and Metrc.

The Add New Vendor button allows you to create a new vendor in IndicaOnline and associate it with a Metrc vendor.
The Assign To Existing button allows you to assign a package to a previously created vendor in IndicaOnline and associate it with a Metrc vendor.
IndicaOnline vendors are used for internal purposes, while Metrc packages remain linked to the Metrc vendors and are reported as such. If your IndicaOnline vendor was linked to a Metrc vendor incorrectly, the best solution is to rename the vendor in IndicaOnline and create a new one, to properly link it with Metc.
